Her Soliloquy

Food for the Soul

Food is medicine. My mantra is, eat ninety percent for your body, and ten percent for your soul. Eating for your body means nutritious, whole foods (think vegetables, fruits, proteins, etc). Eating for your soul means food that warms you on the inside, that gives you a sense of comfort, peace, and most importantly, happiness. On the days when I need that kind of comfort, these are the recipes I turn to. Whether it be in a moment of solitude, a snug night in with a good friend, or surrounded by family, I hope these dishes warm your soul as much as they do mine.
