Author’s Note:
Baked oats remain one of my all time favorite breakfasts. They are super quick and easy to make, and honestly, taste just like cake (but it’s healthy!) If you have a blender, an oven, and some strength in the morning (sometimes, you just need to grab a banana and call it a day), then these baked oats are the perfect morning meal. I will say, just make sure you soak the dishes afterwards. At least, if you don’t want to spend the rest of your day figuring out how to scrape the concrete oat concoction off your favorite ramekin (what, no, that didn’t happen to me…)
You will need:
- Rolled Oats – 1/2 cups
- Almond Milk – 1/2 cup
- Baking Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Handful of blueberries, banana slices, or chocolate chips (depending on your personal preference)
Step One:
Combine oats, almond milk, and baking powder in blender and blend until well mixed.
Step Two:
Fold in chocolate chips, blueberries, or bananas to the mixture. Pour into an oven-safe dish (a ramekin is optimal). Bake at 350℉ for 15 mins. Wait to cool, then enjoy!!
Step Three:
Soak the dish, I beg you.
