There once was a maiden

Unhindered and pure

A willow that danced

With an angel’s allure

Yet for all of her beauty

And fairness and light

Ophelia wandered

The darkest of nights

She swam with a madman

Through current and dune

Til’ one day, her father

Fell sharp to his doom

At the hand of her lover,

The siren did sink

To a blue land uncovered

Where dead go to think
